| How about setting some limits on how "old" the map can be to participate? After all we want active mappers and this is supposed to be a "Map of The Current Month", no? Last MOTM there were 5 maps with map IDs less than 1500. Why don't we compromise and allow only maps with a map ID greater than say 2000 or so? |

| I think the site's font colour's could benefit from a 5 point addition of pink. This next box should be 5 milimeters larger in every direction. We need word filters on everyother word to a random combination of letters and numbers. Oh, and I'm gonna email panschk to change it so that the background is 4 points lighter, with the text boxes 3.141259 points darker. And every number posted should be altered to that value to the ipith power, divided by the icosine of that number. And pictures uploaded by Excalibur should be automatically altered to 768x768 pixels in size. And posts from Grief_Chicken should be automatically censored. And any post Nasty makes should be automatically followed by a post from Nightmarjoo saying "lol". That's just the start of improving bwm. |

| Since our earlier crop of maps was wiped out by the anonymous admin from hell (AAFH) I uploaded several recent maps that elicited some interest and or had replays (including nuclear). I have also made a list with these maps in case the AAFH strikes again. Upload maps today and tomorrow as I will try to make voting start by Sunday night. |

| If say Confusion wins and Shakras ends up in 2nd or 3rd place then somebody else write the newspost, I wouldn't know what to say as to how this maps are VERY different from each other. As far as I am concerned either Shakras or Confusion should have been deleted. The only reason I left it in (and replaced it when it was deleted) is that Tesbug is an admin too and he has won several competitions so he must know what he is doing, right? |

Notice that it's been in every motm for forever and never recieved any attention until now. The author won't edit it, no test games are being played, and the map has some issues, and even without those issues would not be an exceptional map by any means. |

| I DO NOT agree with people editing maps without permission of the author, I think it is a blatant act of plagiarism, its simply unethical. You can get expelled from a college for things like this in the context of schoolwork. I believe that i was trampled by Flo and Crackling in the Flush/Shakras things. What they did should not be allowed. But if I post this in the Forum I would receive a ton of hate mail from the regulars (perhaps also including you) and the rest wouldn't care so I don't do it anymore. As to you it all comes down to this. If i AGREE that we can all edit any map however we like without permission then i have NO right to complain. Just bend over and enjoy it. If however, i stand up for yourself and demand this to stop, i do. So far i haven't and i have even oppossed anny1 when they complained. So it is up to me. | I agree with Testbug that a map should not be edited without the author's permission and that if someone does it then it should be deleted. Shakras SHOULD have been deleted but unfortunatelly it is too late to do this as it has already received a lot of votes. If we delete it now people will say "hey I voted for that map, you deleted my vote" and so forth. However, IN THE FUTURE as soon as such a map is uploaded the original author should IMMEDIATELY protest this in the strongest of ways and the map deleted ASAP. As to herb, Cucdas and so forth, it is not the first or last time that people have agreed to vote for a given map. Many of these posters were here before you. |

| ptar, today (12-27-07) Lost is in second place but that can change again, see if you can make some of the edits Nightmarjoo wants you to make in case Lost goes first again. In any case the two top maps are Shakras and Lost, we can chose among them. Testbug ("i don't want to look like bad manner") sometimes standing up for what you feel is right is necessary even if you "look like a bad manner". If you feel Crackling edited your map without your permission (nothing personal Crackling) then you should say it like it is. | I didn't read all but overall my look on BWMN is that Testbug > Cracling, ptar in mapping. Also ptar's map is no match for Shakras or Confusion. As i said before 4 players map > 2 players maps, and in case when 4 players map is THAT GOOD as Shakras or Confusion i can't imagine a 2 player map win this MOTM. SKILL > RULES! |
