| I really, really hate when such experimental maps like (2)Roanoken whitout any replays are even a candidate for a MotW map. And you placed in first place. WTF?! Not to mention that you know all MotW maps future will be one day in a tournament or something, and what do you think people will think when see this? For such experimental maps you need a lot of testing and replays, flo! You can't just grab your latest map and put it here damn it! |

| of course nasty marine votes for all his maps... :/ this system is flawed; there should be a group of good players (not mappers) who vote for motw, not a bunch of mappers who throw there stuff onto here and then vote for it |

| well LGI, i dont play BW at the moment... and as i already pointed out in the mapthread: i dont claim balance, the only thing i claim is originality and micro/interesting gameplay. i am of the opinion, that perfect maps cant fight the macro-age. so we need imperfect maps, which nevertheless play great WITHOUT standard macro - bifrost for example. i also added bunker44 the last weeks, remember ;) |

| But the community needs perfect maps, flo. Just look at the PGT statistc on the WCG maps. Too bad you can't see (fuck i forgot the name) the last year desert air WCG map. But you can see Azalea. It's balance as The Artist or Sattarchasm = need a little more work in PvZ balacing. So if WCG are using such maps, then the BW community really needs perfect maps. And in this web site i think that we have enough experimental and imbalanced maps. They are not many maps as Sattarchasm here, even if i flamed it from the first look on it and said "damn again standard map" or something like that. I've chance long ago my opinion and i am still whit it. If we want to become the best site for melee maps (this means better then mapdori), then we should start produsing PRO maps (which is difficult because of the koreans leagues and sponsors). So i am hungry and i will go to eat something. |

| So, LGI, you think we need to produce standard maps only because koreans do it and we need to do it better than them? What's Peaks of Baekdu, then? or Sin Pioneer period? Or 815? Or most new korean maps? That's not exactly 'standard' to me. |

| It doesnt even matter if people are good, when they just don't play anymore :O I would go for Osom 1) It is proven, and if LGI does not lie, people appreciate it 2) It has been in contention the last 30 weeks or so, it is becoming embarassing 3) I just saw it probably would take the vote anyway, cool, I don't need to find strange reasons :D |
