Ok so this Is my new map. It is for the Imbalanced map contest:

About the map:
- Its not the standard type of symmetry, its all done by hand.
- The temples are not stacked.
- The min blocks are 32
- Each of the mains gas is 4000, instead of the standard 5000.
- There are 11 min patches per main.
- So its almost like u have a main and nat right off the bat.

Crazy map eh? So this is obviously not balanced.
Im working on an update, in it im trying 2 give + room to the top part, and if possible, add a bridge somewhere, those always look cool.

Well the gas values are reduced man, I just put 3 of them so that u can get faster mining out of them (If a player wishes so)
And besides "someone wise always knows when to make the exception for the rule"

What Last?

Ok so I have 2 options 4 u guys:
1# Its the normal version u see righ now

And 2#

So what changed:
- Its actually a new map, I re started from 0, I moved everything 1 block down and 2 to the left (This gave the map perfect symmetry, lacking a bit on the other version, although it was well disguised)
- Removed a bit of the vision doodad and creep paths that lead main2main, to make them a bit shorter (This giving me + room 2 use in the top left parts of the map)
- The mains are smaller size now, but still a very good size, the other 1s where actually 2 big!
- The middle, or actually the real battle field of the map is now a place where pretty big battles can actually happen, thnx 2 the gained space.
- Now the main2main distance is further away.
- Made the middle funner, +ed a bridge 2 those (Now gas included) nats, and a ridge to that (Now 11 patched, low ground min only) And in addition I made the double gassed expo reachable by land with 3 ramps 2 get some high ground battle going on.
- The 3 mains gases have now been reduced 2 3000 each, so its actually less than having 2 normal sized gases (Fixing neobowmans problem) but still + than normal, and faster mining if a player chooses so.
- Finally after that 32 amount minblock, leading 2 an expo has now changed 2, its no longer tankable, but its now a min only (2 encourage players 2 destroy there Temple). Also I have added walkable ice and a ramp leading 2 those min onlys, to help out drops.
P.S. I like 2# + :)

I like the ideas, but what I dont understand is the battle field. What do u want me 2 do with the orange?
What happens 2 the high snow? And the low ground snow?
I think I kninda have an idea what u mean, but, just 2 make sure:

This was a tough one, I could not fit the base there the way I wanted it 2, and the neutral block thing didn't work for me either unfortunately, I kinda wanted the filing of different halls on the map.
The ramps suggestion was spot on tough.
So I came up with this up date:
I kinda added a 3rd hall 2 the whole situation, and its high ground, so its now + Monty Hallish and Hitchhikerish, I kinda like it.
So this new bath brings a hole new dimension 2 the map.
The new inverted ice2highsnow ramps, are blocked by a none stacked neutral building, these new ramps actually work perfectly. They are not mine btw they are Korean, all i did is edit a bit of the lower inverted part, 2 the way I like my snow2ice inverted ramps.

Well jungle i have almost every ramp you can think of.. even like lezerg's but pointing the other way but not inverted ones :(

Ok so this is a proposition update:
Added another dual gas base in the 5 o'clock position, I kept part of the high snow, kept the highsnow2ice inverted ramps.
And I added 2 none blocked ramps, this 1s:

I decided 2 go with some cool unorthodox ramps that I got from a weird map of Tk's

to leave some "wall" high snow for deco like in my picture to make the expo look cooler ingame :p (or more ice)

So since the weird hack on the site, this maps pick when back to the old version with no deco, witch is horrible!
So I posted the new 1 and gave an:
!!!!!!!!!!!!UP DATE!!!!!!!!!
- Added all the doodads that needed 2 be added ( Map is looking sexy now)
- Fixed a bit in the terrain
- Fixed minor details on the deco
- And tested & Fixed all the sprites, all the neutrals are now working the way they should be
- Map is now 100% done and 100% playing the way it should, unless some 1 has something 2 say about it!
- Only thing is that I have not gotten some test real games in, so there could be a modification in the future.
AND PERSONALLY I highly recommend 2 download this map and take a close look at it, from up close the map doubles in sexiness guarantied!

Looking at my old stuff and..
I think this is my favourite map I ever made. I know it's not balanced, but I like its weirdness.
Wish I'd seen this map in action, with some decent play.

A couple of years ago I hosted this map a few times, it was fun. Mostly I only like standard maps, but Im having a phase of liking nonstandard again.
Map picture still looks like an evil jester/Donnie Darko rabbit.
Id probably say its a bit too feature rich for my current tastes, but you could probably find some people on iccup that might play a couple of games on it.

Lots of vision and terrain altitude stuff... Probably mineral and gas mining problems as well (these are a surefire guess on pretty much any map, unless the maker made sure to test everyting out...) |

Ok, because this is my favourite map I decided to fix it!
- Mineral problems have been fixed.
- Vision problems fixed
- Small adjustments made to map
- Changed map name! (Because of requests a while back from different mappers).
