The "X" after the title means that if played in UMS, the entire map is revealed then un-revealed in order to show both players the map layout (making memorization of the map unnecessary). The mains, of course, are not revealed. | jeb | | | The minimized image of the map looks cool, which is always a plus. However, the mains feel somewhat awkwardly shaped... I don't have any concrete suggestions, though.
One obvious thing you could fix is the gas issue. Move the main minerals to the left/right (so they are facing the opponent's main), and place the gas in a 12 o'clock position. | Rutegar | | | Thanks, I hadn't read the "gas issue" article. From what I can tell, it doesn't seem that mappers move the geysers to the optimal position on expansions too. I'll just re-do the mains for now. | Rutegar | | | Do you guys think the map is too open? Should the central high-ground area not have such large ramps facing upwards? Is the name too unoriginal and dull? I bet there's a ton of things I can change to make the map better. Any suggestions at all? |
