Array | | | My one and only map that I pick up every now and then and modify-the thing has been around for years. Took a while to get everything symmetrical, the temple is in the middle is a sprite so don't worry about and ums stuff. Made with Scmdraft 2, encrypted with smctoolkit. Thanks to stormcoastfortress and shadowflare, people who have been around for so long lol. My only problem with this map is its basic design flaws. It's in no way a pro map unless perhaps its a top vs. bottom, even so I'm a horrible judge. The mineral bases are too close to each other because the map size was too small for 6 people. This makes for annoyances in gameplay when bases are so easily susceptible to siege tanks. If anything I hope the map is at least looks good heh. | boongee | | | looks like you missed some start positions | LGI | | | Well for me it works only for Top vs Bottom. Distance, expands wich can be fired with tanks from the next MAIN BASE, huge chokes... Also your center top and bottom location choke is longer then the others, wich is a bonus for them to protect their bases. The other locations got larger cliffs on their chokes, wich makes tank very strong there for both pushing and protecting. They are also big holes in the structure terrain from wich you can drop tanks and attack the main minerals and gas, and the expands too.
So if you can drop tanks anywhere on this map and attack every expand and main, that makes it very terran map don't you think? Ofcourse the entry is huge, but when the terran secure it, he is like the strongest race out there.
Now look at the center. What you see? A very tight center and this is for 6 players map o_O ?! The chokes are wider then the paths in center man! This is not right at all, you should delete the cliffs in the center, and if you want 2 natural expands in the center, make them on places where they won't be in the way.
