Modifications done (16/01/2018):

-Name and map conception still based
on the Father of trigonometry (Hipparchus) google
it if you have a little curiosity about it.
-Hybrid kind of map (NHFFA MAP/ 8 players)
-Remade the whole map from scratch.
-Remade center island expansion, to a ground/island
4 expansions in 1 with xel'naga destructible temples
allowing passage of units anytime, making it "desirable"
to obtain.
-Remade mains bases, making them smaller and more "comfy"
-Reorganized expansions.
-Reorganized minerals and gas.
-Taken into account pathing of units.
can be played with pcs too.


Modifications done (03/02/2018):
-Reorganized resources in each main and natural.
-Added 8 more bases, 4 minerals and 4 gas only.
-Taken into account resource gathering rate.
-8 player nhffa map, can be played with pcs too.
-Reduced neutral critters from each main base from 4 to 2 in each base.

we have ramps u can copy/paste here on the site, i recommend you use those, the terrain is blocky/ugly in many parts of the map.

also gas issue lol

JungleTerrain I know about the ramps but meh I kind of wanted to make a little of my own. :P . and really??? blocky/ugly can you please point out where so i can fix them? if they need to be fixed of course.

the ramps are blocky and ugly, its just a bridge pasted onto highground. it's pretty obvious where the terrain is blocky...

do u have scmdraft? they arent particularly huge edits, u just have to copy and paste some, like ones here:

Ammm if I didn't have scmdraft I wouldn't have been able to make the blocky/ugly ramps xD. but oh I didn't know those ramps existed thanks for the ramps :). Gonna put the ramps on new map edits and well the blocky part that's why it's called hipparchus :V.. as for the gas issue?? well they are 5000 each dunno what's the issue o.O?
like what need more gas?

"gas issue" refers to inequalities in gas mining rates, depending (mostly) on the relative position of the geyser to the town hall. This is why maps nowadays always have main geysers on top or on the left of the spawning point. There are some articles on this here on site, they are a bit dated, but still mostly accurate, you should check them out.

Unfortunately, most "ready to use" custom ramps you can download anywhere, including here on site, are very bugged, because the people who made them did not really know or care about things like terrain levels. You definitely need ChkDraft (from Staredit.net) to fix these issues or make some decent ramps of your own.

Oh I see Freakling... but well actually 1 gas is well positioned while the other isn't... that's kind of my thing dunno why... but I just like having two gas in base... instead of only one.. I could go with only 1 with more gas in it.. but! I'll have to put it a little farther away so 4 workers gather it instead of 1 and ppl generally don't like that.. that's why the inconsistence in gas... and I try to put them in a way so 6 workers can gather faster gas.. well but that's just me.... and I see thanks for the chkDraft I'll check it out too.

Should we upload/update some actually tested ramps? i feel like most if not all of the ramps posted here are bugged. I know I prefer to make my own for the most part (and the CHkdraft terrain elevation is a big help with that), but maybe for some of the newer mappers it's better to have some plug n play ones.

Oh. I believe I deleted my ramps from a while ago as they were buggy and didn't want people to use them... Of the four remaining I believe only the Ice and Jungle palette are correct.
