I actually think this map is quite nice. When looking for a "pure" airmap like 8882 wanted, this is probably the best map you can get. |

I would suggest eliminating one of the gas expos on the beginning island & replacing it with some minerals |

I think SP did it just the right way. Only air, you can't even build much immobile defense like turrets. So you need gas, gas, gas. On most maps the min/gas ratio of your units will be like 3/1 or 2/1. On this map it will be more like 1/1. |

The main concept of broodwar/starcraft is to fight for ressources. If you have infinite amount of cash, the whole concept is useless. That's like playing an ego-shooter where all enemys are already dead :P
No, except for minor things like mineral placement (workers getting stuck behind minerals could happen on the small islands imo), you should not change too much anymore. |

But the concept of this map is not to fight over minerals, its simply to fight - with air units :P therefore bgh settings might do well, since it's the ight that matters, not the destruction that comes afterwards |

You couls still turtle a lot with BGH minerals. It is difficult to take a base with air units only when both players still get significant cash in. 2 hour games suck. |
