Long time no see.I recently started to play BW activly again,and well I thought why not make a new map,so here it is!

Quite new things for me that I put into the map like a bit bigger main ramp and a small ramp for the min only so tanks don't own the shit out of you too early(well they own your asses anyway!).

island gases are 3000 each and the ground exp with 2 gas has 5000 each.the blocking minerals on the ramp are 16 and 1mineral block in the main is 500 only.

Suggestions etc. are welcome.

Dude 815 now has double gas on the islands too with both gas having 2500!
loose the blocking minerals, widen the thing ramps, make more than 1 ramp or a wide ramp to the expos in the bottom, either loose the min onlys in the bottom corners or put more than 4 on them, decorate terrain more
well maybe on the island you could get away with it although most players won't like it, as 815 is no longer on pgt. but it def needs to go in the bottom middle one.
Dude just cause it's different it doesn't have to be shit.

blocking minerals will stay and the small ramps will stay.

that's the concept I wanted and I will keep it!
i have no problems with those btw.
I'd say this map is still in a very rough state, but it has potential and will be your best.

some thoughts:
-remake the bottom corners. they look weird for gameplay
-make sure you cannot hit the isle-gases from mainbases with siegetanks
-the high 6h expo should be one normal, but rich expo. so drop the two gases and just make 1.
-add some more terrain deco
here comes the update!

terrain now with a lot of trees.I just like the look of the trees.6h exp has 1gas now and 11minerals.the gas has 7000 I think but i forgot^^Added 3 mineral blocks to the corner expansions.

I still have to test the siege tank thing though.
well, i've never seen the half blocking mineral on a ramp before, and didn't like it, and assumed no one did it because no one else liked it either. i guess they aren't so bad.

I know but try to find something that is groundbreaking after neutral buildings,minerl walls and all that stuff.
no really he is right double gas is gay. it is just reminiscent of BGH imo. i like the other ideas.
Yeah but that way it's more of an advantage to have 2 gases instead of 1 and the island is pretty much unholdable except you go mass anti air.

So 2gases are more worth the risk of getting bashed on the island.

by the way I'm going to decorate the map even more,so you like it a bit more and I hope it may be my first MotW.

yeah blocking minerals pwn. thats the same concept I had on my Abbandon map, but ppl saying remove them so I had no other choice but to do it... I was just being harrased!!

ehm scoutwbf, an expo with two gases is worth being taken...and terran can secure this very well with cheap turrets.
make a minblock there, i guess it should help the case of floating a cc there early if the opponent went a non-drop-tech.

by the way effect it isn't like your map.your map is looking totaly different.

shamant , thats because the idea was really stupid on your map, it covered the whole entrance, making any sort of rush impossible. all your opponent would have to do is set up cannon behind it so you cant mine it and then even though you would win later it would just make a fast game frustrating.
Ok I tested:You can't shoot the gas from the main.

but you can drop into the doodads at some spots and I will fil them with critters because there is no space to place a doodad.
I just like it.
Progressive and solid at the same time imo.
Small decoration changes. You see the full deco in the editor.

I like them :) But there's more to decorating than trees^^ (not much more!)
ok here's 3 reps, they all suck, but w/e. We were both tired, and mostly playing offraces so don't expect anything out of them =/

Um from playing it, the main definitely is too small, and I wish the nat had a tighter choke (you could even use a neutral in the nat choke like I do in (2)Inertia).
