| Posted by:panschk[FP] Today we will learn some basic HTML tags to use on this page and everywhere else where you need HTML-knowledge. So read well, and let me never see some red X on here anymore ;) Links:<a href='http://www.broodwarmaps.net' target='_blank'>click here </a> click here To create a link, use the "A" tag. the target is the window/frame the link will be shown on. Default is "_top", which will open the link on the same window on click (Unless you hold shift while clicking). "'_blank" will open the link in a new window, which is better for any external link. Images<img src="http://www.panschk.de/mappage/Desert.gif" width="60" heigth="60">  The image tag allows you to post images. Width and height are always in pixel, unless you write something like "x%". It would then use x per cent of the available space depending on resolution and frame/table size. If you write no width or height the image will be shown in it's orignal size. If you chose only one of those, the other value will be generated automatically so that the images's aspect ratio does not change. font<font size = '[value 1 to 7]' color='[red/green/blue/white/ #FFFF00]'type="arial, comic sans ms/ times new roman/ wingdings...">text </font> When you use font on this page, always make sure to close all font tags. | remove the font part and add blockquote part. There is no reason why people would use colors in the forums when it mostly might affect other parts of the forum than just your own post :p. |
