Hey guys i need your help. Especially from the few korean users here at this site ^^.
Since those little crazy persons at intothemap.com changed the site you need to register before downloading a map -_-.
Now i don't get their language and for gods sake what is this security code number?
Do they live like the people in the DDR? =/
This is realy annoying now, wanna play some broodwar again and since here are no good maps left :p, i wanted some of their maps.
So my question is:
Does anyone have an account over there?
If so could i use it to dl the maps? Promise i won't do shit with it ^^ !
If not, could some1 pls make such an acc, i'm definatly to stupid :D
thx for any answers !
It's a korean social security number, only a korean would have one. I think you can find a way to make a fake one somewhere on the internet, but I dunno if it would work or not.
just another way to widen the gap between the foreign community and the Korean community. They have access to all of our map ideas and close the site down to us.
I say we try to further popularize this site instead of trying to get in an "exclusive" korean site. Requiring a national SSN to have access to an internet database is absolutely ridiculous and facist in my opinion. I think this website's search avaliability can be much better. (Meaning it can show alot closer to #1 when starcraft or starcraft maps ect is searched.)
As a graphic design student, I was an intern at Positronic Design. (Search "Full Service Graphic Design" on google.... #1)
The owner used a technique that raised his spot. He sent newsletters to all who subscribed. This newsletter was a small webpage opened in the containing email. In this page, many words were linked to various things on his site.
EX: We have many STARCRAFT MAPS for DOWNLOAD.
Other linked words would also raise the search number for the website. Linking specific popular map names would also help.
This may sound like a far-fetched idea, but it can easily be done with a little work. I'm looking at the big picture.
Blizzard is an American based company anyway, right?
