| I dont know what ambitions this page has.. If it is supposed to be a melee map comunity (wich actually would be something new) or if it is supposed to be an entirely complete database of all good maps ever made, or perhaps both? however, 1 thing that could be great fun, is to start doing this mapevents, like over on staredit.net. They gather once a week, playing all night through all their newly released ums's.. What if we tried to arrange a tourney played on our custom maps gathered here on regular basis? i believe that could perhaps raise interest in new maps, and sure as hell be alot fun. | ||

| Yeah why not? You have the rights to post news you could try to do something like this. But right now there is only half a dozen active users, half of them from europe...so having a meeting in B.net will probably fail if you do it yet. Doing a mapcontest is something I would like to do also, I think some minimal scripting should be done for that though. It's on my TODO list, but not on top:) | ||

| Absolutely, but afaik most of the users post maps, but just a small part of them would play in a tournament. anyway, lets try to arrange some events like that, in the future! | ||

| That would be great if this site could hold map contest with tournaments where players would discover new interresting map. If you make a contest, be sure that we can only vote once per id or it will screw all the thing. :) Panschk, i think you are giving a new life to the melee map community because it's kind of dead on SEN's right now :) | ||

| Its good ideas, and it kinda were those i held to myself :P We need to have users first. look at the competition on TL.net, they have 1000nds of visiotors everyday and still its going slow. | ||

| We can't do a mapcontest ourself. I just don't know how to make a voting system that is not easy abusable.(even IPs are very easy to regenerate, cookies can be deleted...) I think it is either a mapcontest where a team of judges (like the admins of this page) make the decision, or the final polls must be on tl.net. | ||
