Sorry if this is addressed somewhere else- I couldn't find anything in the search forum.
My XP died so I've switched to Win 7. I was trying to edit one of my older maps on Win 7 and saved it with the default suggestion Starcraft Map (*.scm). It apparently saved because in the folder I can see an icon with the updated version. However, if I open up the folder after, it doesn't appear. (Though going back into scmdraft 2 I can see it again.) It also does not show up when I try to play test it.
For some reason when it saves, the normal map icon also has a picture of a little lock over top.
I tried saving it some of the other options (hybrid map (*.scm), broodwar map (*.scx)) but scmdraft just crashed.
Any one know if scmdraft 2 is compatible with Win 7 or if there some update or something I should be doing?
Go to http://www.stormcoast-fortress.net/ and report it as a bug.
Also try bringing up SCMD2's properties and selecting "Run as Administrator". Not sure if this solves anything, but the little lock might have something to do with access rights.
