One of the toughest maps I've tried to make thus far. The concept had to go through something like 5 design changes. Originally, it wasn't an island but I couldn't get it to work any other way. First time trying and island map and the first time trying rotational symmetry. Rotational symmetry is practically impossible. Anyway, the center expansion has 24 500 mineral, mineral blocks and 4 2000 gas, gas geysers. May seem like a lot but I wanted the map to allow one player to gain a massive advantage if their opponent doesnt scout. Easy to kill if scouted though. No doodads yet.
The in base expansions have neutral spider mines so the Zerg can kill it quickly and make an expansion while the Terrans and Protoss must wait until they have their respective detection units to expand. Note that I didn't come up with the idea.
The mains of top right and bottem left have a 1 and a half square grid difference in size compared to the mains of top left and bottem right.
Shape is inspired by Blade Storm.

whoa, what happened to the picture? Its all blue?
Rotational symmetry is hard, but definatly possible.
I dont like how there are 2 expos on the same platform.

And btw, how do you spell "definatly"? I can't get it right...

I actually kind of like the map btw. I'm concerned about balance though, depending on timing zvp will probably be a bitch :O

I don't like island maps but this looks kinda good. Island maps without second gas on the main is imba to zerg. This have minerals too, dunno if that is too much. Im sure terran try lots of dropping behind minerals.

I'm not too sure if 2 gas in the main are so much better for zerg either. You can pump a scary amount of sairs off 2 gas, long before any kind of hive tech arrives. I'd definately rush towards hive, though.

Well, with 1 gas toss get faster corsair. With 2 gas it still get it faster but zerg get lost of gas too so it can make more muta and scourges.

It would be better if you move that natural little far away from main minerals cuz you can make cannons to nexus' very easy. U know what im saying?

The picture is definately blue... I would change it back.. its not about pimpin the map with some weird color, its about making the actual map interesting, the color will make people turn the map down quicker, before they analyze it properly....

Blue... Ok? I move the in base expos further and slightly widened the middle. I also only brightened the pic up slightly this time.
