I was planning on putting D webs on the paths above and below the bird (leading to the 6 and 12 min onlies) but I decided after doing pretty much everything else that it was kinda pointless. Oh well.

PS: Lava is walkable. Should be obvious, but so many people don't know.

The maps seems really nice, but your expo placement is not one of the best... Espacially 3 and 9 o'clock.

I think there might be gas problems on 3 and 9 expo too.. might be just me, but that gas between 2 mineralds might get some probles stuck

Btw, are you sure your path finding is not fucked up by the center fenix?

I don't like how much of an open wasteland the map is =/ You could get lost in that :O

LGI, what do you think is a problem with expansion layout for 3-9? What would you do differently for a map setup like this?

The minerals in the middle don't block an entire path, as such they're just like normal cliffs. Scouting probes don't get stuck there anyway.

It's more like cross positions on Req, or Blitz X.

On BlitzX the mineral lines are a huge tactical element on the map. Here it's just a decoration.

@yenku, nothing is wrong whit the 3 and 9 expands. They are just expands :)

But when you are in game, to have a smooth gameplay the best expansion set up is to make them step by step whithout making the players moving to unnessery directions. It's really hard to expalin this in English for me, but you can see maps like (4)Spirallianz, (4)Sattarchasm, (4)Ground Zero and many more. Their expansion set is always comfortable and they are placed wize. They are on the way to the center whithout making the players to lose time in going to a wrong direction. This thing just makes the game slower and supports more the cheese and gay gameplay instead of real and fair fights.

Anyway thats just my opinion which i support a lot.

Widened ramps at natural for balance. Played lots of games on this, it's pretty damn fun :)
